It’s possible to pack in all the fun you want from a vacation while staying away from the crowds. Lake Wallenpaupack and the Pocono Mountains offer plenty of wide-open spaces and the opportunity to do as much or as little as you like. Here are 6 activities for social distancing on vacation.

Game Time!

Put down the devices and log some board time. Get reacquainted with the classics like Monopoly or Scrabble. Go really old school and brush off the checkerboard or chess set. New Yorker Magazine named Exploding Kittens among the best new board games. The card game has been described as the family friendly version of Cards Against Humanity. The New Yorker also recommended Spot It for its portability. Spot It is another card game, which utilizes observation skills and a time element. You can use your smart phone and download the Heads Up app. It’s like Password for a new generation.
