3. Spooky Days on the Farm

Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm, Stroudsburg
Daytime and nighttime activities explore the light and dark sides of Halloween. In the afternoon, families can uncover the traditions and history of the holiday by playing games, listening to stories and taking a horse and wagon ride. When the sun goes down, mysteries unfold. A murder mystery guided tour lets visitors follow clues in order to solve a crime.

4. Old Jail Ghost Tours

Old Jail Museum, Jim Thorpe
The corridors and cell blocks of the former jailhouse are eerie any time of year, but ghost tours every Saturday evening in October are especially chilling. The foreboding structure dates to the 1800s and is famously haunted. Go in search of ghosts and learn about the building’s dark past on this special Halloween tour.

5. Storytelling Dinner

The Settlers Inn, Hawley
Glowing pumpkins, each intricately carved, sets a spooky mood as Neil Genzlinger and friends spin ghostly tales. A farm-to-table seasonal dinner begins this beloved Halloween fun tradition in the Poconos.

6. The Hotel of Horror

Lake House Hotel, Saylorsburg
Your worst fears come to light at this former Pocono resort turned haunted house. The indoor, walk-through attraction features actors who bring the 200-year-old building to life.
