What You Need to Know About the Paupack Polar Plunge
What is it?
The Paupack Polar Plunge is a fundraiser. Plungers submerge themselves in the frigid waters of Lake Wallenpaupack for charity with the sponsorship of local businesses and individuals alike.
Who does it benefit?
The plunge seeks to benefit the Ledgedale Dive Team and the Tafton Water Rescue Team with 100 percent of the proceeds.
When and where is it?
The Paupack Plunge is held on January 1 at 1st Klas Marina along Route 507 in Tafton. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., groups will plunge into the lake every 20 minutes.
